The first step in streamlining the redemption process for code cards found in Pokémon TCG booster packs occurred with the Pokémon TCG: Black & White—Plasma Storm expansion. Code cards found in these booster packs unlock a digital Black & White—Plasma Storm booster pack, rather than a booster credit which must then be redeemed in the Shop to unlock a booster pack. This same process has carried forward to the latest expansion, Black & White—Plasma Freeze, and will continue to apply to future expansions. (more…)
In addition to the other exciting features released in this month’s Pokémon TCG Online game update, we are beginning the initial testing phase for Gems. Starting with the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Black & White series, specially marked booster packs have included a Pokémon TCG Online code card. These codes can be redeemed for booster credits in the Pokémon TCG Online shop, which can then be used to unlock digital booster packs from any expansion available in the online game.
The latest game update brings the excitement of over 150 new cards in the Black & White—Boundaries Crossed expansion, and a whole new audience with a Mac-compatible game client! (more…)
The release of the Pokémon TCG Online game heralds a significant step forward for the Pokémon TCG Online.
