    2.20.1.531 Patch Notes | May 22, 2014

    BUG FIXES

Gameplay: The effect of the Sweet Sleeping Face Poké-Body now ends when the affected Pokémon wakes up.

Gameplay: The Victory Star Ability can no longer be activated when an opponent uses an attack which includes a coin flip.

Gameplay: Using the Portrait Poké-Power to copy an opponent's N no longer returns that card to the opponent's hand after both players complete the effects of N.

Shop: Code cards from the Xerneas and Yveltal seasons can now be redeemed in the Shop.

Shop: The error message displayed when a user attempts to redeem more than 11 codes in a single batch now contains the correct text.

Collection: French, Italian, German, and Spanish versions of the XY—Flashfire cards now properly appear in the game. Portuguese cards will be added in an upcoming game update.

Deck Manager: Decks containing cards with the New tag are now properly flagged as valid during the play session in which the cards were received.

Tournaments: The winner of a tournament now receives the proper prizes if the opponent drops from the tournament before the final match begins.

    KNOWN ISSUES

Deck Manager: Some actions allow a user to add more than 4 copies of a card to a deck. Though the deck is listed as valid for play, users will be prevented from starting a match while that deck is selected.

Chat: Mac users may have difficulties using the Social menu due to a conflict between the game client and the Thunderbolt Ethernet Bridge in the Mac operating system. Please see the post below for a temporary workaround.

Tournaments: The Tournament Tickets granted upon logging into the game for the first time during the alpha testing period are not consistently displaying in a user's account balance, though the Tickets are still being granted.

Temporary workaround for Mac Chat issue

The development team is currently investigating permanent solutions to the chat/lobby issues on Macs. They have found that a common issue seems to stem from the Thunderbolt Ethernet Bridge feature, which can be temporarily disabled to allow regular play of the TCG Online. Here is a brief overview and the temporary workaround for this issue:

What is the Thunderbolt Ethernet Bridge?
It is a way to network two Macs together directly via a Thunderbolt cable.

Do I need this if I'm connected via Ethernet?
No. This only effects your ability to directly connect two Macs together. If you are using this functionality you will need to undo the workaround to restore this functionality by switching network locations.

How do I disable the Thunderbolt Ethernet Bridge?
    - Open up System Preferences.
    - Click on Network.
    - Under location click 'Edit Locations..'
    - Click the '+' symbol to create a new location.
    - Give the location a name and click Done.
    - Select 'Thunderbolt Network Bridge'
    - Press the [-] button to remove it.
    - Click the gear icon and select 'Manage Virtual Interfaces'
    - Select 'Thunderbolt Bridge'
    - Click the [-] button to remove it. Confirm even though it is in use.
    - Click Done.
    - Click Apply.

PLEASE NOTE: Switching to a network location that has the bridge active will cause the issue to re-occur. To switch back:
    - Open up System Preferences.
    - Click on Network.
    - Select the bridge-less connection.
    - Click the gear icon and select 'Manage Virtual Interfaces'
    - Select 'Thunderbolt Bridge'
    - Click the [-] button to remove it. Confirm even though it is in use.
    - Click Done.
    - Click Apply.
