The Trainer Challenge has evolved a lot over the last month. Placeholder effects have been updated, game logic has been improved and card bugs have been squashed. We’re continuing to work on the graphic fidelity of the game and any bugs that arise in the game. Looking at side-by-side screenshots of the Trainer Challenge when it launched last month and the Trainer Challenge today, the improvements are striking.

Now that the Trainer Challenge is stable, our primary focus has shifted to the multiplayer portions of the game. Builds that include the deck builder, trading, multiplayer and the avatar creator started arriving late last week for internal review. Based on what we’ve seen so far, we’re well on track for a late summer launch of these features. Over the next couple of months, you’ll see fewer major improvements to the Trainer Challenge while the developers focus their efforts on the multiplayer aspects of the game, but it will be worth it in the long run.
