How to Redeem Booster Pack Codes for the Pokémon TCG Online
Q: Where are these booster pack codes?
A: In order to get more virtual cards for your Pokémon TCG Online card collection, you'll have to get yourself a BLW booster pack! That would be one of these packs:
Make sure the back of the pack you purchased contains the words “Contains 1 code card. This card gives your access to the beta test for the Pokémon TCG Online.” (Also note that not all packs for Pokémon Black and White include code cards in them so you must double check for the special icon if you wish to get a code card in your pack!)
Once you physically open the pack, look for a card that looks like this:
This card is very important!!! On the back of the card, it contains the code that you will redeem to get a booster pack credit good for one digital booster pack.
Q: How do I redeem my BLW booster pack code?
A: Redeeming Packs is not only easy but it can be fun as well. All you have to do to redeem your pack is log into the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online Game Client, then click the little “Shop” icon at the top
You will notice at the top of the shop screen, there is a grey button to “Redeem Codes”.
After clicking "Redeem codes" this screen will appear where you can enter your code.
Next, just enter the code from your code card into the field select it and click "claim now". The system will automatically check to see if it is a valid code. If it is a valid code, then a message will appear.
Q: I have redeemed a code now. How do I open/use my pack?
A: In order to add a new booster pack to your online collection, you will need to purchase one and then open it up online. Once your code has been redeemed click the Shop button again. Once you have the shop open, you will notice an icon at the top that displays your “Booster Credits: _” balance
From here, you can select which booster pack(s) you would like to spend your Booster Credit(s) on.
Once you have selected a pack you want by clicking on the picture of the pack, you will then want to “purchase” it. Click the yellow “redeem” button underneath the Booster pack product information.
Once you have clicked the yellow redeem button, a message will appear to confirm your purchase
After spending your booster credit on a virtual booster pack you will now need to open the pack up from yours packs section. Please click the collection button at the top:
This will open your collection screen, from here you will need to click the section for packs:
After opening your packs section you will see any unopened packs that are on your account:
When you open the pack the cards contained there-in will be displayed and automatically added to your collection:
Okay you have now successfully redeemed a booster code, spent a booster credit, and opened up your virtual pack!
Please note redeeming a theme deck code will automatically put the Theme Deck into your packs section for opening and you will need to open it for it to appear in your collection.
